Meet Our Dentist
Dr. Nicole Wright is passionate about providing individualized dental care that supports patients’ oral and overall health goals. As founder of Winston-Salem Dental Specialists, formerly Winston-Salem Periodontics, she is committed to building a team of compassionate specialty providers who can help support patients in the community and surrounding areas.
A native of Colorado, Dr. Wright studied biochemistry at Colorado State University and completed her dental education at the University of Colorado School of Dentistry. She further pursued her education in periodontics at the Greater Los Angeles Veterans Administration Hospital. Dr. Wright had the honor of graduating from the three year residency as chief resident in 2008.
Upon completion of her periodontal training, Dr. Wright worked diligently to earn certification as a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology and Dental Implant Surgery, a distinction held by less than one-half of her peers. This honor supports Dr. Wright’s commitment to lifelong learning and improvement.
When not with her team and patients, Dr. Wright loves spending time with her beautiful children and supportive husband. She enjoys being physically active, doing laundry, and exploring new cities- especially when delicious food is involved.
