Meet Our Dentist
Dr. Emilie Ammoura grew up in upstate South Carolina and earned her Bachelor’s degree in Biology from the College of Charleston Honors College. After college, Dr. Ammoura matriculated into a dual-degree dental and PhD program at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) in beautiful Charleston, South Carolina. She graduated with honors from MUSC with her DMD and PhD degrees with a focus in periodontal collagen biology.
Upon graduation from dental school, Dr. Ammoura continued on at MUSC to complete a residency in Graduate Periodontics. Following her extensive residency training, Dr. Ammoura specializes in dental implants, bone and sinus augmentations, soft tissue gum grafting, traditional and laser periodontal surgery, periodontal regeneration, and IV sedation.
Dr. Ammoura is certified in conscious sedation and ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) and currently uses sedation and pain control techniques during her practice.
She is very excited to receive the opportunity of joining the practice and to work with an outstanding team. Dr. Ammoura looks forward to treating patients in an honest, respectful, and professional manner while providing exceptional surgical results.
Dr. Ammoura lives in Winston-Salem with her husband and daughter. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, swimming, skiing, painting, and traveling.
Dr. Ammoura is a board-certified periodontist, a Diplomate with the American Board of Periodontology, and an active member of the American Academy of Periodontology, American Dental Association, and Southern Academy of Periodontology.
